Gabi’s Story

On October 16, 2018, Gabriella Pellicani, at just 5 years of age, lost her 10 month battle to glioblastoma, an aggressive and incurable form of brain cancer. Gabi was treated at Dana-Farber from April to June 2018 as part of an experimental clinical trial that focused on a particular genetic mutation found in Gabi's tumor. While in Boston, Gabi was in the hands of some of the country's best doctors and most caring nurses, and was embraced by an entire community devoted to supporting pediatric cancer patients and finding cures for diseases like Gabi's.

Please join us for the 5th Annual Golfing for Gabi Golf Tournament, with all proceeds supporting The Jimmy Fund and the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute of Boston. This year’s tournament will be held in Gabi’s hometown, at “The Links” as she called it. With friends, family and supporters of Gabi, we will honor Gabi’s love of life and beautiful spirit. Through your support of this tournament, Dana-Farber will continue its groundbreaking research, with all funds specifically designated for funding research relating to pediatric brain cancer.
